Board Games Meetup on Saturday, March 15th from 10am-12pm
Come out for a fun morning of fellowship and board games! Bring a few of your favorite board games you’d like to play along with some friends and family. All varieties of games welcome whether it is a strategy, word, party or family game, competitive or cooperative. Please sign up with the number of people attending and bring a snack to share. Coffee and tea will be provided. Looking forward to gaming with you!

The Children’s Ministry is Still Looking for More Volunteers!
If you’re looking for a fun and rewarding way to serve the Lord and to serve the children and families of GCC, consider volunteering in our Kids Ministry! If you don’t yet have the Plan to Protect training, Shona Robinson said she is willing to host it in her home. If you’d like to volunteer, please email kidsministry@gracecitychurch.ca.
Pastor Dave is Out of Town Until March 23rd
Pastor Dave is currently in England to complete a requirement for his seminary education, and to visit his family as well! If you have a spiritual need, please feel free to reach out to an Elder or Pastors Jeremiah and Johnny. If you have an administrative/practical need, feel free to reach out to Will.
Men’s Bowling Event on Saturday, April 12th, 2025
Our next men’s event is a day of bowling that dads are welcome to bring their kids to! Come spend some quality time with your brothers in Christ and their kiddos!
Who: All Grace City men (with, or without, kids) and their children are invited to attend
Where: Splitsville (Mountain View) Bowling in Glamorgan – 3919 Richmond Rd SW
When: Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 1:00pm
Cost: $13 per person for 75 minutes of 5-pin bowling
Overflowing Women’s Conference! All Ladies Invited!
Our denomination, the CNBC (Canadian National Baptist Convention), is putting on their annual women’s conference again this year! All CNBC ladies are invited to attend.
From the CNBC: “Overflowing is a CNBC Women’s conference intended to inspire, encourage, and equip women to share Jesus in their personal circles of influence. This one-day conference features dynamic keynote speakers, breakout sessions, lunch, worship, fellowship, and more. This year’s theme is Tell the Story!”

New Prayer Request WhatsApp Community
Exciting news! As you (hopefully) all know, at Grace City we believe that prayer is the backbone of everything we do. As such, whenever we get the chance to pray for each other we want to do it. We have created a “GCC Prayer Requests” chat in our WhatsApp community. If you would like the church to pray for you, please send an email to prayer@gracecitychurch.ca with your specific request(s) and a staff member or Elder will review your request and post it. Please note that only staff/Elders can post in this channel in order to keep it organized.
Anyone can join this chat from the GCC WhatsApp community. If you need help joining, or you’ve not yet joined our WhatsApp community, speak to an Elder, staff member or city group leader to be added!

Ladies’ Bible Study Every Wednesday at 9:30am at the North Mission!
Attention all Grace City ladies! We just want to remind/inform you that our women’s ministry hosts a Bible study every Wednesday at the North Mission. You’re all welcome to attend, and your friends are welcome too! For more information, reach out to Shannon up North, and Ashley in the South.

Support Our Local Elementary Schools! (Huntington Hills and C.N. Gunn)
On behalf of Huntington Hills and C.N. Gunn elementaries, I want to sincerely thank you for your generous support to these causes! The winter boot, shoe and clothing drive is still happening and we really appreciate all of your donations.
The most needed items at this time are:
- Childrens winter jackets (especially for 6-7 year olds)
- Kids snow pants (mainly smaller sizes)
- Hats and mittens
- Indoor running shoes, kids sizes 11-6
The donation bin for both schools is still in the foyer of the North Mission. This is such an amazing way to bless children (and parents) in our community this holiday season.
A lot of families have already been blessed by this work, so thank you, and thank God for His provision!
Pathway Church Cambrian – Food Pantry
Grace City and Knox Church are partnering up to help out with an ongoing donation drive for the Pathway Church Cambrian Food Pantry! They are so excited and grateful for your support! Thank you all so much!
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of fellow Calgarians, and to bless them by showing them the love of Jesus! There is a collection bin in the foyer of the North Mission.
They are asking for items that will keep for at least one month or longer. Below is a list of the most needed items:
- Powdered milk
- Cereal boxes
- Peanut butter
- Oil
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
- Canned meats (tuna, chicken, spam, etc)
- Canned vegetables
- Canned plain black or brown beans (no sauces please, i.e. tomato or maple brown sugar)
- Rice
- Sugar (Smaller packages are better)
- Flour (Smaller packages are better)
- Mac & Cheese boxes
- (small) bags of potatoes
